Engine Questions

I have 02 3.8 V6 Manual mustang with 161k miles. I have recently purchased a 1999 Vert 3.8 V6 Mustang with 181k for extremely cheap to use for parts. My plan was to take off the parts I need and also take out the engine and transmission of the 1999 to rebuild and put into my 02 when it goes. I was looking at the engine and notice some slight differences. I was wondering if the 1999 3.8v6 engine/transmission would fit into my 02 without the need to swap anything else over such as the wiring harness.

Wow that light gray text is very tough to read in a browser. Not sure about the other methods to connect, but thought I would fix that. Do not have an answer for you, but maybe someone will jump in that knows those years...
