Dark smoked headlights with HIDs
Dark smoked headlights with HIDs
Since I got the new headlights of course my lights are very dim. I want to switch to HIDs soon. I was thinking of 6k or 8k with 3k fogs. Anyone have a set up like this or know of someone who does? Is it worth it?
I can't seem to get a straight answer on Hid bulbs. I heard 4.3k was clear white then I heard 6k was then I was told 8k was and I thought 10k was pink ? I'm confused.
However love the smoked headlights on the sn95s

The 4k, 6k, 10k, etc refers to color. The higher the number, the warmer the color. That's why 10k is pink. Just go to walmart or the local car parts store, most packaging is very helpful when choosing your headlamps.
Correct the higher in K's you go the warmer the color.. 4000k usually is the very bright yellow, 6000k (the brightest in Hid's) is the white ( similar to new cars running stock projectors with HIDs) 8000k is sumwhat white with a slight bluish tint, 10,000k is more of an aqua color and 12000k is the blue and finally 15000k is the actual pink. So really as far as brightness goes 6000k is the brightest followed by 8000k then 10000k then 12000k and finally 15000k..as for the 4000k I can't say since I haven't seen them in action though I believe they might bright but jus with a strong yellow color
Link to said pics? All the pics I saw looked like photoshops of the same pic.
