The problem with the Cobra stock is it makes almost no exhaust sound.

That will be fixed, don't worry about that.

The exhaust mod, the one that most Mustangs owners perform.

Hoping to go to the track again in a week from sunday.

I changed the cars oil on Tuesday, I put in royal purple 5w20 even though there are a lot of naysayers on this expensive oil but I wanted to try it out.

Next time at the track i will let some air out of the tires and remove my spare and jack.

Great find. You are a lucky man to come across such a car.

I know you'll enjoy it.

I've heard really good things about Royal Purple and Red Line oils, especially from the FI import crowd. I'll use it in my rebuilt motor after it's broken-in.

went to the track today. I didn't improve ET still best in the 13.5's but new best mph from the car.

My friend drove it a couple times and trapped just over 108mph.

I found out I was hitting the 3rd gear fuel cutoff before the line so it was cutting power and timing after that and why my 13.5 was only at 105mph.

So need to work on running the car out but not bouncing the cutoff.

Best 60 foot still 2.2 but if i can knock that down a tenth or two and run it out to the full 108 in 3rd gear I should be able to get down closer to the 12's.

I have some videos I'll have to post them up.

Washed the car yesterday and decided to shoot some photos at lunch. A really like most of them but I was in a rush so I didn't get to spend as much time getting nice ones as I would have liked.

how many 9 year old cars have a near flawless leather still?

Not even wrinkled on the drivers entry side..

This car really loves the right hand side of the tachometer. It always seems to get there in a hurry.
