I thinking about buying one in the future, but I was wondering about functionality and perf. gains for it.

Also, has anyone seen a picture of it on a y2k GT? I was wondering how it looked on a 99-2k GT. I've seen it on 01-04's and they look sweet...

Usually it's not worth it.....it usually winds up being 0-3 hp for $700+ dollars....do the math......there are plently of other things that are more beneficial than the hood scoop.

It's more of a "appearance" mod rather than performance.

As far as year.....it wouldn't matter because the 01+ hood scoop is removed so there's no real difference in hood. Just be prepared to trust someone(or yourself) to cut a hole in your hood.
