why is it that my 235/50/17 tires rub I have 05 gt bullitt rims and i know the offset is different. I think I need a lower profile watchu think?

The 50 is what's killing you, I think. 245/45/17s is the way to go.
no, your problem is the offset and backspacing is different than your car. trust me, the rims on my coupe are for an 05 and up. i actually had to get spacers, 3/8 in the front and 7/8 in the rear. that pushed them out exactly where i need them and flush to the wheel wells. maybe you have a tire clearance issue as well but it is due to the wheel being for a 05+.

and just my opinion, the bullets are beat into the ground and i wish ford would stop making repro's.
with the general design you are wanting to go with, the mach 1 wheel would look great on that car and really give it a tough look. you would also solve your rubbing issue.

Yeah i figured it was the 50 I'm supposed to have some 225/45 coming tonight until i get some better tires. And yeah about those mach 1's my friend is supposed to be replacing his stock mach1 with some black chrome and he would sell me the set for 400 so ima try to hop on that!
