Thats the first time I ever recall seeing the decklid blackout between the taillamps on the 94-98 body. It looks good.

Where is it rubbing? do you know which part of the tire?

Also, when does it happen: all the time, on bumps, during cornering?

The 50 is what's killing you, I think. 245/45/17s is the way to go.

yeah that 50 profile on a 235 is 117.5 height were the stock 245/45 is 110.25... so your overall tire height is 14.5mm larger.

no, your problem is the offset and backspacing is different than your car. trust me, the rims on my coupe are for an 05 and up. i actually had to get spacers, 3/8 in the front and 7/8 in the rear. that pushed them out exactly where i need them and flush to the wheel wells. maybe you have a tire clearance issue as well but it is due to the wheel being for a 05+.

good looking project you got going there.

and just my opinion, the bullets are beat into the ground and i wish ford would stop making repro's.

with the general design you are wanting to go with, the mach 1 wheel would look great on that car and really give it a tough look. you would also solve your rubbing issue.

Yeah i figured it was the 50 I'm supposed to have some 225/45 coming tonight until i get some better tires. And yeah about those mach 1's my friend is supposed to be replacing his stock mach1 with some black chrome and he would sell me the set for 400 so ima try to hop on that!

jump on them brother, that will pull everything together. and i am telling it is the 05 wheel that is screwing everything up right now.

Thankfully it looks like the '10 marks the end of the overused Bullitts
