i painted the bezel thing
Here is a pic of the bezel I painted today it came out pretty smooth and its gonna be smoother when I get some rubbing compound. Im also in the process of painting my center console. ive got some pics of that too! let me know if you wanna see how i did anything

Well today my mirror came! woo hoo its not installed yet though.
I mocked up my center console/bezel also
heres the shifter part

my center console that used to be tan

and my mock up also my friend came over and helped me get the radio working, the back speakers dont work yet he's coming back to help, but the aftermarket speakers in front sound good, it came stock with the mach 460

my door panel i painted i also painted the handle silver

Lol, even if you did go crazy, everyone else who posts here is anyway 
Its good fun to have a diary going like this, even if you're not gettin alot of replies right away. Months or years down the road, you can re-read it all and remember how fun of a project it's been.

Im pretty sure it will stay because all those panels are plastic and its kinda hard to make it run just from experience, I've tried it but since You said that im gonna do a little experiment
Interior parts look great, good job. I can't wait to see the finished product.
I was thinking throw-out bearing too, might want to take a look at that first. It means pulling the trans out, but shouldn't be too bad if you have jack stands and a floor jack. I've done t-5 replacements before in about 30 minutes, all by myself.

If the paint has partially or completely dried, water won't be a problem. If you just had applied the last coat of paint, and it rains, you will get some water drop marks, just let the paint and water dry, sand a little and paint again, no problem.



I feel everything i do gets me this much closer to the day when i can
and have fun!
