Battery Kill Switch Installation
Well here are the pics from my kill Switch install...
Here's the product all laid out before the actual install:
This is where I mounted the solenoid, right in front of the battery. You can see the 2 holes I had to drill to mount the unit.
This is the actual solenoid hooked up to the car:
The solenoid utilizes the positive side of the battery. My wire was not long enough to reach the solenoid, so I had to add on some extra length to the positive side cables.
I went with a simple in the dash mount for the switch as there was already a small hole. I simply had to drill the hole out to be big enough to receive the switch. I will probably go back in the near future and put a hidden secondary switch for security purposes.
This is the solenoid in place in front of the battery with everything completely hooked up:
And finally the switch mounted inside the car:
I owe cntchds a huge thank you for finding these switches for me, it has worked great so far and has been a really welcome addition to my car.
