Hey guys first post so bear with me, i just received my Bama tuner and i have to say wow. I enjoy the 93R but i keep reading about the 93 Hybrid and i was curious if Bama made a 93 Hybrid for the 2000-2004 mustang as i cannot find a forum on it. Thanks!

 

Have you asked BAMA? I have a 2005 and have both the race and hybrid tunes. I only ran the hybrid for a few days before I switched back to the race tune. I just didn't like the way it drove.

 

No i was gonna call them tomorrow, but i figured i'd ask around here first. i heard it was pretty good just killed MPG. why don't you like it?

 

It just felt sluggish. I could either cruise around easy, or I had to floor it to get moving. It was almost like it would never downshift unless the pedal was on the floor.

 

Welcome to the forums! Thanks for the awesome feedback. I'm glad to hear that you're really enjoying your Bama tune. A Bama tune will really wake your Mustang up and make you fall in love with your ride all over again!

The 93R tune will probably be your best option. The Hybrid tune was really focused on the 2005+ Mustang's but isn't needed anymore. We revamped all of our tunes and used all of our customer feedback to perfect our tunes. We basically built in the great characteristics of the hybrid tune into our standard Street, Performance and Race tunes! If you're looking to get a little bit more aggressive with your Mustang we can look into this for you. I would recommend giving the Bama team a call and datalog with them. From there we can make any adjustments that are necessary or could benefit you!
