Question Any 94-95 Cobra owners?

I will be putting a 95 Cobra motor into my GT when my motor blows! I'm trying to see if they require the super unleaded gas. I hope not! I don't think they will, just not sure about it though!

My friend with the 03 Cobra does, but that's a different story I think. Thanks!!

I believe they do. I test drove one once and thought the paper said premium fuel only

I'm pretty sure all SN95 cobras required 91 octane.

I think it was suggested, not requited. The engine was the same as your stock 5.0 except that it has a different cam, different heads, and different intake. Other than that, all of the parts were the same engine-wise.

You can run regular unleaded, but you'll notice that it will last less than 91 or higher octane. That's the case with most 5.0L engines. Mine behaves that way, and it's a GT. Also, with 91 the car will feel livelier and more willing to rev up.
