amp installation

im about to run the cables for an amp and was wondering how you pop off the trim pieces along the door, i have a 2000 coupe. didnt want to break anything

The door sill just pulls straight up. It just has small metal clips that hold it down. Just put your finger tips along the inside edge of the trim piece and the carpet, then pull up. They flex alot so dont worry that its going to break. THey are pretty tough.

they are usually one of the few interior pieces that dont break easily.

Also, just a tip here, but dont run your amp power wire and rca's/ amp speaker inputs right next to each other.

I agree, run the RCA and the remote turn on wire from the headunit to amp on the oppisite side of the car. It will keep any signal interference from happening. I always run the power wire on the drivers side and the rca/remote on the passenger.
