I've used the cans of refrigerant from Autozone on my girlfriends Civic, can this also be done on a 94 GT? I've seen what appear to be the valves for it but I'm not sure if this in fact the case.

Check with autozone first. They should have cross references to make sure the refrigerants are the same.

i think in 94 they had switched to R134. i bought a kit for my 92 and changed mine over from R12 to the R134 so i could recharge it myself. it was like 35 bucks for the kit and came with all the adapters and instructions. works good. my air has been ice cold for 2 years and havent had any leaks or problems
