If anyone could help me out with this, I'd really appreciate it:
On the 2003 and 2004 Cobras, is the rear bumper one piece or two pieces? There is the body-colored upper portion that wraps around the back of the car, and there is also the satin black piece below that spans the width of the back of the car. Are these two seperate pieces, or is it one piece, with the bottom half painted black?
I've always thought it was two seperate parts, but it's difficult to tell from pictures. Thanks for any info! -Dan

 

Im pretty sure its one piece just painted black on the bottom section.

Maybe a 03/04 owner will chime in?

 

It's a one piece bumper, the same as all other Mustangs. The lower center section is molded into the one piecw and painted satin black. The bumper will fit all 99-04 Mustangs.

I have always loved the back of these cobras.

 

Its one piece, but 2 different plastics. The bumper is painted and the black half is fitted in a way. The bottom half is almosst exactly the same plastic as a Mach 1 Chin Spoiler or even the chin spoiler on the front of 03/04 Cobra.

 

Thanks for the info everyone. Nice pics and great car Chris. im thinking about putting a cobra rear bumper on my GT. im not trying to create a cobra look-a-like, i just think the cobra bumper looks better than stock.

 

yup, the bumper is a great touch that gives the cobra that extra difference compared to the GT
