I'm looking at buying new wheels for my 96 cobra convertible and I've always liked the chrome 2000 Cobra R's (real ones, not the replicas). Since these are 18x9.5, will they rub in the front or back (stock suspension)? If its even possible, what size tire would y'all suggest? Thanks

 

I'm thinking of getting the same rims except silver instead of chrome for my 99 GT. I was going to do 275's or 285's depending on how much each were. I think they fit fine with stock suspension.

 

they fit in 99+, not sure about pre 99 though...

 

They should fit your 96 cobra with no problems. Just run the stock size tire for that rim, which i think is 275.

 

well 2000 cobra Rs ran 265's but i'm sure 275 would be fine.
