Here are pics of my 2003 Mustang v6 premium coupe. I picked her up from my dad's job on August 1st. It was an old lady trade-in (or so I'm told). She had 36,400 miles on the ticker when I took ownership. It's great for a daily driver and I plan to do some cosmetic and performance modifications as soon as I get some of the debt on her loan paid down. There are a few cosmetic imperfections like scratches in the paint and scratches on the plastic cover on the gauges but nothing to horrific and you really don't notice them unless you are really close to the car. The Mach system is fantastic and prefer it over the Shaker in my '06 even if it lacks .mp3 capability, CD Text and the changed seems to stick when ejecting discs.

Now I just need to find someone who can drive one of my Mustangs for me so I can take both to a nice place for a photo shoot.

Yeah I thought the ricers would see the GT on the back and the dual exhaust but none of them knew about mustangs.

I think the 35th anniversary badges on the sides also made them think V6 since it didn't say GT.

17" rims were optional on the 1999-2000.

Standard for the GT was the 16x7 with 225 tires.

Also what sucks is the 225s are not rated past 120mph so the stock comptuer limited the car to 120mph.

I hit it quite a few times. you wouldn't think it would matter but when my friends camaro would peg the needle at 160mph it made me sad.

They were drag limited. My 00 GT automatic topped in the upper 140's after I had the normal bolt on's etc done. That went down a bit after the 4.10's installed. The 96 cobra was in the mid-150's the only time I took it up that high.

Btw, these were in a controlled environment, not public roadways and I and TMS do not condone high speed testing on any public highway.

Wish i had all my time slips from the track. I have only been to an actual dragstrip a couple times.

My first time ever was in the white 99 and I really sucked outta the hole.

60ft in 2.3sec and running 14.5 @ 98mph. my friends 98 z on the same night ran a 13.9 @ 102mph.

Get a Xcalibrator II and you can remove the limiter, I did and my car went 171 (measured with Garmin GPS). I backed out at 171 because the hood was doing the "Funky Chicken" and I thought it might blow open. As I was coasting down I started wondering what my tires were rated, needless to say I won't ever take it that high again (at least until I get hood pins).

My dad should be bringing home his project '97 soon. Whenever he brings it home I'll take some pics...but rest assured the pics won't be pretty with the pony being in its current state.

Man, with 3 v6's on the land...someone needs to man up and get a GT, lol.

Pics of the '97. She's in very rough shape, but most of it is cosmetic. Dad had to powerwash the seats at his job yesterday and we brought it home early this morning. Besides the obvious external damage, the interior is in pretty good shape. The seats are almost perfect and seem a lot more cushiony (is that a word, lol) than my daily driver '03. There's a crack in the center of the windshield, the rear dash on the back window has cracked as well (most likely due to heat). CD player (which I find shocking for a '97 car) works great although the tape deck is all shot to heck, like someone tried to rip it out when their favorite tape got jammed. It's hanging on by a couple of wires it seems. The passenger power controls "sunken" in as they do not protrude through the openings like they should. The exhaust tip has rusted through completely just about. The icing on the cake is that the odometer and tripometer do not work on this car, so the tripometer is permanently set at 000.0 while the odometer is permanently set on 146547 miles. The engine is pretty solid and reliable. The car mechanically is pretty decent shape, and I don't think it's too bad for paying $850 for the complete package. There are some things with a car this old that needs to be repaired or updated but nothing that will break the bank. He won't start tearing it down and seeing where he wants to go with it until next year. He wants to finish paying off his truck loan before he gets seriously involved with this. I think he's a little nuts for taking this car on as a project but maybe the fact I own two has spurred Mustang fever within him. So for now, the 1997 will be driven as is...most likely by me, since he's a truck person at heart and only drives cars on the weekend and his truck through the week.
