145k

My 96 cobra hit 145k the other day. Maybe its time to rebuild? Or change out just a few things. It still runs perfectly fine.

Is it the iron 4.6? I ran a '95 modular past 250k - still ran perfect. I say if it aint broke...

But that engine produces and takes a bit more stress than what I had. Maybe some Cobra guys could elaborate.

I agree, if it's not broke don't fix it. 145k isn't a lot of miles these days, I'd just drive it and enjoy it until a rebuild was necessary.

Do a compression check on it and see where it stands, then you will know if you need a rebuild or not.
