03 COBRA GAUGE SWAP IN A 97 GT

I am wanting to swap out my factory mechanical gauges with 03 cobra gauges that have the digital odometer and i am wanting to know how i could make it work and is thier like a conversion kit that they sell to make it possiable or how do i do it

It would be hard to do. Your car has a mechanical speedometer and odometer. The 03 Cobra has a digital speedometer and odometer, meaning there is no connector for the cable that runs for the transmission to your cluster. The electrical connectors are different as well. You wold need o figure out how to wire the new cluster to your harness and find a kit to convert your mechanical output on the tranny. to a digital signal and wire it to the cluster. Now at I say that the signal for the new cluster goes through the PCM before going the cluster.

Yep sounds like a huge headache.
