XM Rodey Install
Sorry I did not doc. the whole install - I was fighting rain showers all afternoon on Saturday! Hooked up direct to AUX with a (PIE FRD04) adaptor and it sounds great. The quality through the FM channel is really poor, so this is the only way to go with this. There is a great how to on this site to get behind the radio - very easy and parts remove no problem (unlike my 03 Probe GT back in the day).
V1 hooked up the the map light overhead (Kudos to Dustin) and it works great. Cut out the area of plastic where the vert top control would go and used that extra room for the hard wire stuff.
Tapped the rodey into the 12V under the armrest - was going to hardwire that too, but too mych to get behind the fuse box so I do have to remember to shut that off! No wires to be seen - everything is hidden - this is a great spot to install b/c you can't see it from the outside and it is easy to change stations while driving.
