Would it be considered heresy to replace the white ball knob on a Hurst Shifter? :)

Would it be considered heresy to replace the white ball **** on a Hurst Shifter? :)

I know the white ball is what makes the look of a Hurst shifter, but I think a billet aluminum ball would look so much better with the IUP.

well color of the ball no prob, but to me the only proper hurst shifter is with the chrome stick!!!

Heresy?? Back in the day, you didn't ever see a Hurst shifter without a aluminum T-handle, or so I am told. Besides which, the T-handle feels so cool to shift. Makes me think I'm Steve McQueen or Ronnie Sox
