wood steering wheel
On Mustangforums.com, there was a few posts about it,try a search there. It was quite expensive, either $800.00 or 1100.00 for just the steering wheel. Not sure if it included the airbag.
Can also try a Google search, there is a company making them,I just can't remember the name.

Might find them somewhere else cheaper, but here is one place: http://www.stwheel.com/s/index.php?m...36_372_373_374

Yep, Alliance Tech is the mfg of it. I was looking into it myself. Then the price jumped to $1200. plus another $200 for the core deposit. No airbag. and you have retro fit it yourself.
Soooooo, as much as I really like it, this too, is on hold.

Hey guys. Sorry I didn't see this thread until now. Coincidently, I was doing a search to find the exact location of the airbag fuse because I'm getting ready to sell my car and I'm going to pull the wood steering wheel off before I sell it. (make me an offer
)
To answer some of your questions, Yes, it's from www.stwheel.com (Alliance Technologies) and yes, it's very expensive. ($1,200.00 PLUS $200.00 core charge. $1,400.00 if you keep your old wheel) No, it doesn't come with an airbag, you just use your existing one. That part's no big deal though since you have to remove it anyway to remove the wheel.
I only now of one other company that was making a wood steering wheel. I can't remember who it was, but I think they're out of business anyway and besides, it looked terrible when I saw it in person.
I had heard Grant was going to make a wood like cover which would obviously be a lot cheaper, but they decided to not to.
