Refer to post # 9, I was darn lucky. I do hope someone picks up and starts making windstops again for people that don't have a lightbar.

Thanks for the clarification...

I'll keep the eyes opened to find something.

Is there a mesh/screen verion for the lightbars ?

I really don't like that acrylique type.

Steve, I may have found the company that sell the Windscreen you have. I have sent them an email for more info and I will keep you all posted. They are in France, luckily I speak french !

click on the picture to see the details.

In the mean time, can I ask you a favor ? can you post some closeup pics on the little hole where it clips at the front, and also some pics of the hinges from the sides (open and close).

Thanks,

Yes, PM me your email address and I'll send pic's. That's the best way I know how to send pic's. Mine is done differant than that one. I don't have those pointy things in the front that look like they go into something. Hopefully they perfected the design. Mine is a one off proto type that wouold have been refined if Ford would have went with it. My was made in Germany. How much money are they asking for it in US dollars? And I'm guessing shipping will be something$$.

I don't read French. Does it say what those pointy bars in the front connect into?

My roomate had a Beetle convertible and it used the same type of bar on the windscreen but there were indents built into the panels in the rear of the car. My Mustang doesn't have any indents.

They don't really say, but my guess is that they will go inside that plug you can see on one picture. I think you probably drill a hole and screw this receptacle, then the pin goes inside and locks in place.

It's only my guess.... I'm waiting for them to send me an instalation instruction sheet.

The price they publish is 225 Euros wich would be about 300$ US as far as shipping I'm waiting for their response.

They have updated their we site to better explain how it fits, and I was right. You need to drill a hole on the side panel and install that female receptacle and when you put it on, you screw in that big pin inside that receptacle.

Keeping it taut is the main issue.

Just teasing with you. Look what you have to look forward to. I'm 20 yrs. older than you and I am still as nuts as you young pups about modding these new stangs. I only hope you have as much fun doing it the next 20 yrs and I have the last 20. P.S. I still have 99% of my hair and I love the feel of the wind at highway speeds. You will never see me going down the highway with the top down and all the windows up. Wussies!!!!

Agreed. Just turn up the heat full blast, or put the A/C as cold as possible.
