Dark colored cars with dark windw look good imo, but i'm not sure how the mineral grey will look with dark tinted windows. I was planning on going with 5% ("limo") on the back and 1/4 windows and 15% ("dark") on the side window.

Living in So.Cal my last car had 38% all the way around, never got pulled over and looked pretty nice.
Limo is too dark imo. If/when I decide to tint the Mustangs windows, I'll probably go 38% again but a little darker on the back glass because the window is so big.
I think even tint looks so much better than limo in the back and grey in the front.
The only reason I haven't tinted yet is I'm waiting for it to heat up some so they will cure faster, the front windows rub a bit on the very top 1/4 inch. Don't want them to peel or scratch.
I think moderate tint would look great on your car, definately wouldn't do limo though.

5% on the back and quarters on my Redfire, 35% on the sides.
The 5% sure is dark from the inside, not everybody will like it, but I certainly do.
Here in the land of heat and sunshine I figured anything less wouldn't cut it.
I cuts the heat dramitically! On the side windows the legal 35% is just fine with me, any darker and I'd feel like I was driving in a cave

Well just had mine tinted yesterday, wanted to stay legal. So on back I went one step above limo which was 20%, rear side qaurter windows 20% also, and drivers and passenger window 35% to stay legal. Looks nice and dark. Good luck

Hey Bob, I'm heading up to Ukiah in may, how many 05's cruising down state street these days?
I remember back in high school, friday nights state st. cruising was the thing to do, although that was almost about 15 years ago...

Heheh Bill, nothing has changed. I graduated from UHS in '84.
There are some pictures at my site, Emperorjordan, but they're not good for evaluating the 50%. (Link in my sig) I wish I could go lower on the sides, but CA law says 70%... I didn't want to push it. 50% is livable

35% all around (except windshield).
Perfect for me. I wanted tint, but didn't want my windows to look completely black (especially since in Michigan you can't have tint on the driver and passenger side windows, except for a strip at the top).

I live in Michigan too. Have you had tinted windows before? And,if so, were you pulled over for the windows at all? I am thinking of tinting, probably 35%, but I want to make sure I don't attract flashing lights on a regular basis. Thanks.

Guys, great pics. But I think the starter of the original thread wanted pictures of Mineral Grey Mustangs with tint. Where are all the MG stangs with tint?

Anyways, I think 35% all around would look great on MG, I'm just thinking about going 40% to avoid any kind of hassle.

I went 15% rears and 30% doors. It's really dark, maybe not limo, but all the darker I'd want. I was worried about the way the black would look w/ the red, but the combo I went with is perfect IMO, and would be the best for Mineral Gray too.
