Lets see what folks would want to do if they took out the back seats.

I vote for the full size spare. Like the concept.

At least one other person wants the full size spare, like the concept. I just reinforced the lower portion with peg board in preperation for that mod. Total cost now at 34 dollars.

You REALLY should have had at least ONE "we are keeping the rear seat" option....

Allowing that option would require the poll title to change. The last catagory would best suit your choice though. 0) Backseats? What back seats?

I actually agree with you. The seats, by themselves are great looking. What lacks in the 05, IMO, is lack of proper leg room and a front seat that does not return to a reclined position.

It does not return to a reclined position because Ford knew leg room would be a huge problem. Cab Forward design was supposed to give more cabin room, but not the back seat.

Call it what you want, but they do not fully function as full back seats.

If it is any consolation, I will keep my back seats for special occasions, but as my daily driver, they stay at home in my attic.

I picked "what rear seat?" because I'll never fit back there... unless the front seats are all the way forward and folded.

I agree! By taking out the rear seats it looks unfinished and very odd. It looks as odd as if you were to take out the passengers seat.

I put all of my terry cloth towels under the seat area to fill up the seats and protect that stereo stuff. Seems to stay quiet enough, but I do have Bassani exhaust so....

I went to a birthday party on Saturday and some one asked if I would ride them home when I left. Sorry, no back seat, no hard feelings. Inside My mind is saying:
F! em!
but I sleep better at night doing it my way.

Even though I find the backseat usless and constantly fold it down to put stuff in the car, I just can't stand the looks of the car without the seats. Even if you install the rearseat removal kit it still looks bad.

I thought about doing it to save some weight. The full spare is a good idea though too. But I think I'm gonna keep it.

Do you have to remove the front seats to get the rears out? I wouldn't mind removing them so I was curious...always worried when I set something back there that it's going to tear them up and there's not enough room for people anyway.....

Good question. I'd be curious to know this as well. I'm hoping maybe you can get the rear seats out of the trunk.
