Shows how observant I am. I've had the car for three years and just noticed the plastic clip on the inner surface of the armrest cover. What is that thing supposed to be for?

 

No clue a picture would help.

 

I always figured it was for holding registration and insurance papers, so they're easy to find. Something like that. I don't actually use it though.

 

That would make sense Jay. I don't plan on using it myself. I haven't used it yet, so I guess it's not a real necessity. Just curious. Thanks.

Yes, it's intention is for a small pack of tissues. Personally, I keep a detailing cloth there.

 

Answered this one before. But we use the Stang console's cover inside clip to store the koozees (Mid-West slang for the soda can's thermo slip covers) for icy cold Coca-cola cans, when ever out for a fun road cruise! CalStang

I put coins in the coin holder and some cash rolled up in that "bracket".

 

My garage door opener fits like the clip was made for it, with the "visor spring clip" fitting in the slot. It does sometimes slide out if I brake hard.

 

I put my orbits gum in mine. Just recently though. Since I just found out the other day about that clip.

 

The extra clip is fo' my piece, YO!

Actually, it's for a pack of kleenex, but you can use it for whatever.

 

I actually use it to hold my wallet, that way i don't have to sit on the **** thing while i drive
