There were pictures of the interior with blue seats and blue trim on the doors. Where those just photoshopped pictures of the red or did they use to exist? I was looking forward to blue seats.

I dont know, they are not for production. I never saw them in anything other then the Motortrend article, and the only "other" silver with stripes gt never had blue seats at an auto show(the same car most likely). I think it was all a chop. I dont think we will ever see them.
I would think there would be a market for the saddle brown(like a baseball glove) color with charcoal. They had a DSG tbird with it last year, it looked great.
There is a new stone(like dark taupe) color coming out for the Expedition next year that may make a good replacement for "legend lime" as a "classic" annual color, like the t-bird does. The stone color looks like a classic metallic brown that the stang could wear. It is like the porsche 911 in that regard, they wear all kinds of wierd colors well.
Red is just so universal it works well as an accent color. I really cant think of another non earth-tone that goes with so many colors. Theres white, but who wants to own and maintain that

To be honest I wanted Sonic Blue with the red seats and white stripes. No stripes and you can't get the red seats with Sonic Blue (stupid packages). Ah well, gotta decide what to do.

It was irresponsible of MT to even make the chop when there was never even a rumor that the color would be available.

Maybe Ford will have a special color for each year on this model? Who knows. BTW I'm hoping for DHGreen to replace Legend Lime.

True, but it also had stripes and ford was very upfront that it was not being made. MT did nothing to say "hey this isn't an option that we've even heard about". If ford was asked, they said "no stripes, and not this color"

The Grand Admiral is correct, Ford can't be for showing a prototype in a snazzy getup, but MT can be flogged for putting a 'fake' picture on its cover and not saying, "that guy on the third floor made it"

i guess.. i just think it's lame everyone accepts the status quo... same old colors interior and exterior for the most part. the show cars had different colors to create more interest. It is not as exciting to just say hey this is the new body and you will have the same exterior colors give or take one or two... and woo hoo gray or tan interior.
yeah i know they have red too... must have slipped past the excitement censors.

Ford did that to make the trilogy match at the car show.
