What is this??
It looks like a tiny speaker or microphone. There's one on both sides. My '05 GT has it, my '05 V6 doesn't, my friend's '05 GT doesn't, but his friend's, '06 GT does. What is it??

I wondered if that was a daylight sensor for headlights or something.... maybe that same overhead piece is used in other Ford vehicles?

More specifically, they are the MOTION DETECTION sensors included in the Active Anti-Theft Alarm System.

Nice, I have these and have always wondered what they were. Thanks guys! I thought they were something to do with a garage opener or something. But what do I know?!

They are minature camera's installed by Ford to watch you mod your car.

they are the sensors that trigger the alarm if someone reaches into the car with the windows down but the alarm set.
