I just got my replacement AC ***** and I am not entirely happy... Is anyone else annoyed at how shiny they are? I thought that by getting satin finish would make them dull, like the rest of my Bullitt interior. Sort of burshed aluminum like. These things are all shiny and look like little mirrors. The spec sheet in the box claims they are the satin ones, and someone even initialed them as correct. If this is satin, I dont want to see pollished....

Sorry to hear that Andrew. How much were they? If not too bad, maybe eat the cost or try to return them.

Talking

I ordered the satin and am slightly disappointed in that they are a bit too shiny. My other peeve is the thickness of the colored insert. These ***** are dim.

The other thing is that the colored insert in two of mine looks yellow and not green. When you look at it in daylight it is a green insert, but with the backlight one it totally yellow and the other is a yellowish-green that just looks dumb. I am not happy with the pieces at all...

I got mine awhile back and they are more brushed. The illumination is not at all impressive. I recently ordered the switch plates, though they are marked brush, they indeed have a mirrored finish and don't seem to fit well. They are still sitting on my desk.

WOW!! I have these and I dont have any complaints. I was able to go to their shop which is located about 20 minutes from my house. The service they gave me was world class! The picture on their website with the switch plates is my car!
I posted pictures on an earlier thread. I will try to find them.

The A/C ***** are fine, it is the illumination that is the problem. They are no where as bright as the factory *****. From you picture I can see the glare from the switch plates, this would not happen if the finish was satin. I am not the only person that had this problem with the UPR *****.

I ordered their (UPR) plain round ***** and returned them right away...virtually NO illumination at all; never mind the advertised colors. On top of that, the way they were designed the sat way too high and you could see the interior glow "leaking" out on the sides...very poorly designed to say the least. However, I'm going to give them one more try with their "slimline" ***** since they advertise them as having enlarged illumination ports. As for the finish; if you're unhappy with them and want a more pronounced satin look...just get some 400 or 600 grit sandpaper and refinish to your heart's content!

My fault, I read your orginal post too fast! Like I stated I went into their shop so I got to see them before I purchased, and I knew that the switch plates were a mirrored finish.
As for the illumination the only one that I do not see very well is the one on the left, but I think it is because of my angle of view. The other two illuminate fine.
I am sorry if you do not like them and have had bad service with them, I guess I am lucky since I got to go down there in person.
