I was at Barnes & Noble yesterday reading a Mustang magazine, and saw an ad for custom aluminum pedals. I punched in the web address in my phone, so I would remember it, and this morning I checked the site. All I can say is WOW! Their products are 1st rate. They offer 4 different finishes to suit anyone, and the prices are not too steep, considering what you are getting, for the money. Click on their website links to see the different pedals for a Mustang.

Brake & Clutch pedal set

Gas Pedal

Driver footrest (dead pedal)

Heelguard

I believe the heelguard you put over top of the floormat, so you don't wear out the mat.

I know there have been several post on adding aluminum pedals and/or metal/rubber pedals to the Mustangs, so I just wanted to add this to the mix. IMO, they would look fantastic on a new Mustang. These pedals sort of remind you of pedals that are in Ferraris or Lamborghinis. I may have to add these to my mods list . Hope the information is helpful for some.

Thats a great find! I might order a dead pedal since UPR has been taking forever to release theirs.

Holy cow  that is $151 for the cheapest set of Gas, Brake, Clutch, and Dead pedal.

Also, note that it is for cars 99 - present. Is the 05 pedals different than the 99-04 pedals?

When they say present, I am taking that to mean the 2005 as well. The ad I saw listed the 2005 Mustang specifically. If you really think of it, $151 isn't a hole lit, considering that they are custom made from billet aluminum, and how big they are. Yu are paying for the craftmanship. If the pedals from somewhere else were $80 or so, I would go with these, just on how they look.

I saw those in the magazine too. A little pricey, but nice. Maybe when I start running out of other mods to do and bags of cash just start piling up...Hmmmm maybe I won't be getting these

That is excellent customer service. Thanks for the update Janet. I am definitely going to go for these when my car comes in this Spring. If your geting a dead pedal, you have to go for one fo the engravings. That would really make it look sweet. Thanks for the info.

I just ordered the dead pedal in the shiny smooth finish, with the Mustang pony engraving. I hope it's a good match for the UPR pedals I have. I'll post pictures when I get it B)

B) Ordered the Gas & Auto Brake pedals today. Spent about 30 minutes on the phone asking a zillion questions. Parts are CNC from 6061-T6.
Getting the Brake pedal oversized (5.625 x 2.25) instead of the standard size (3.3125x1.81) with Running Pony on both pedals.

Any interest in a group buy?
If we can get 10 or more firmly interested I'll coordinate.

Plan would be to establish group buy sign up for 2-3 week period.
One week to place final order
One week to manufacture
One week to deliver

Orders would be directly with Ultimate Pedals (http://www.ultimatepedals.com/home.htm ) noting group buy info to be provided if there is enough interest. This could also be opened to any friends on other sites if allowed here.

Should have info by weekend.

They will make to custom size and Heel/Toe set-ups.

They will engrave:
Cobra, Running Pony, Pony w/TriBar, GT, Ford or up to 3 initials. This runs $10-$25 per item; depending on which is chosen. Believe they will also make special engravings at extra charge. Engravings are not subject to group buy pricing.

Their discount is:
Greater than 5; 25% off
Greater than 10; 30& off
Greater than 20; 35% of
Making a set from about $60-$90 depending on finish + any engraving.

Prices are same for Auto or Manual. Think we may also be able to include dead pedals as part of a group buy.

Can mix and match auto, manual sets for different years to meet group buy quantities’ Price will be the same..

Sorry for the long post. If interested let me know

I'm definitely in for a full set, (gas, brake, clutch, and dead pedal), since I started this topic . That is one heck of a discount if we can get 10 or more people. Let me know how you make out.

I just changed the title of the topic to let other forum readers know about the chance of getting a group discount together. I'm hoping by listing this, more will see it, and want to sign up. Hope this helps Woody

I'm in, I asked about colors, and they said the pedals could be powder coated. I just called a local shop - $75 to do all three. Let me know, I want these, like I want EVERYTHING else I find here.........

I want Brake, Clutch, Gas.

Rob sent me the templates and measurements for the pedals, too small. The brake and clutch are just barely enough to cover the metal section of the pedals, and the gas pedal is too small and the wrong shape, they are the same size as the 99-04 pedals..... I sent him the measurements for the '05 pedals. We'll see what happens, I'll let ya know what happens.

B) They will custom make to your measurements. I'm having my brake pedal made larger (5 7/8 x 2 1/4) than stock (3 5/16 x 1 13/16), small additional charge. I'm starting a group buy tonight.
