www.granddesign.com makes trunk lid mats for 1994 and up Mustangs.[attachmentid=29043]
According to the website, they run from $82 to about $120. I saw the pony mat at Mustang week and it looked to be well made. He also does body color, chrome, and custom work.

Wow - I am at a complete loss as to why I would want to spend almost $100 to put that in my trunk.....

Just for the heck of it, I went to check out that site. It bounced back in my face. You sure that's correct?

I goofed on the address it is granddesignmat.com

In any case, it is a lot of money for something you do not need. But so are fancy tires, wheels, interior trim or even the car itself. I have seen folks paint the underside of the hood, spend way too much on a stereo, blow thousands on go fast mods, and pay MSRP for a car. To each his own.

I think it is a nice touch that will get you noticed at a show.

I hate to admit it, but I ordered one earlier this week. Yeah, the cost is a little on the high side, but it should look cool at a show.

I will post pics once I receive it and install it, if you are all interested. Oh, I ordered the one with the Mirror running pony. KInda matches the Silver of the car.

We must have seen the same car!! I like them too. I also saw these.
Trunk Mats:

http://www.ssnake-oyl.com/htdocs/index.html?

Click on catalog at the top, then Fender Gripper products, then trunk mats.

I emailed them to see if they would make them for the 05. It looked very nice on the car I saw.

And they responded today:

Yes Donna we have them in the works, The dies that we cut them out with are having the metal attached to the back at this time. They should be available at the end of the month. The convertible is different then the coupe model so be sure to order the correct one. Call me (Rod) at 1-800-284-7777 when ready to order. They come in the same colors as the 04 mat. They come in blue, red, white, silver, orange and yellow. Thanks for your interest! Rod

Yep Rene you need this to stay on top. On the inside of your engine compartment right in front of the springs on both sides is a hole. Being lazy as I am I plan to fill these with a plug from the hardware store to keep the mud out. Have you done this yet? C U next meeting.

Got mine installed today. Will post pics in a little bit.

I must say though, it was easy to install and it does look real nice. Phil @ Grand Design Mat is great to deal with. He will help you out 'til no end.

Just waiting for it to get dark to get some additional pictures.

Interesting. Not sure I'd invest the $ in something like that myself, but it looks like quality work, and should be a real eye catcher at shows, etc.
