Does the TripTunes adapter (Ford Accessories Part Number: 6R3Z-19A464-AA) allow you to control the iPod via the Shaker? Or is it just a connector and you still have to operate the iPod directly?

No, the TripTunes is just an FM modular I believe, ie you tune to a radio station. The TripTunes Advanced, release date early 07, will allow you to control the iPod via the shaker.

I put TripTunes Advanced in my Mustang 2006 with Shaker 500. When enabled, it starts to play the songs and I can see the Ford logo on iPod. But I don't know how to change songs and select playlists. Help me, please!
