I recently bought a 5" autometer Monster Tach with a shift light (Lunar series). I also got a Tach Driver from Ford racing (used).

I don't have instructions for the Tach Driver (Ford's version of the autometer tach-adapter).

Has anyone installed a tach on an 05? If so, do you have the tach driver instructions. Perhaps somone would be kind enough to scan them in (should just be a sheet or two). Or maybe just an easy how-to guide?

I'd really appreciate it.

do a search there is instuctions on how to do it you will have to order a module also

 

I did and it yielded nothing but an install for a tach-adapter (autometer) on an earlier year model.

I eventually figured it out. You have to tap into the crank positioning sensor as opposed to the coilpack (as per the instructions here).
