Steering Wheel???

Hey everyone. Just wondering if the new 2010 Steering Wheels will fit the 2005? I've got a Clarion DVD deck that has an option for integrated steering wheel controls and wanted to use the 2010 wheel with the built in buttons. May have a lot of soldering ahead of me but wanted to make sure the wheel is a direct replacement. Also, does anyone know if the wire adapter is available for the audio controls on the 2010 wheel?

The wheel itself will fit. Figuring out a way to get the wiring working for the radio is another matter.

Good to know, Thanks! The adapter for my Clarion deck has bare wires to solder into a vehicle's pre-existing steering wheel controls.

Ah, but the clockspring and other wiring would have to be replaced to get that to work... I would guess, anyway.

The thread was lost in the crash here but Cubican installed the 2010 wheel in his car.

The wheel will work , but the problem is the wiring harnees in the older cars wont support the new wwheel wiring components . You would need to run wire through the colum to the new wheel and that would be all but impossible .
