If a head unit pumps 20w x 4 for a total of 80w, that does not mean you are getting 80 to EACH speaker only 20w and the RMS listed on the speaker is for EACH speaker. So the Infinity's can take 100w RMS each, but you would only be pumping 20w RMS to each with the head unit you listed.

, yep. One of my recent comments was "D amn I am going to wind up spending more on MODS than I did for the car"
I'd go with the Kappa's anyways - they are a great speaker - work very well with stoc HU wattage and you can always add a powerful amp later on down the road. I'm on my 3rd car with Kappa's and their price has fallen to $99.00/set. I have them in my '05 F-150 with the stock HU and they are a hugh improvement over the stock cheapies and I had them in an '01 Lincoln LS with an 85W x4 amp (US Acoustics) with the stock HU and they easily handled the power and sounded sweet. I started in that car with the Infinity References and after adding the amp upgraded to the Kappa's which do sound better - particularly in the bass area - much cleaner and deeper bass.
Search the net you can find them pretty cheap.
