Also, what the heck are the differences on the rear view mirrors? They all have a price difference but most of them look the same!

Speaking of floor mats, what are you doing about back mats. I bought some small square ones and had to cut out notches in the corners to make them fit. They don't look to great...

My wife drives a 330i - 2004. You give up some finesse items. Heated seats being one, and quality mats being another.
I think the inside of my Mustang GT is tremendous. I like the simplicity and the ergonomics. There were a few skeptics about the interior - pre release , on this website. Most objections expressed, I found to be strong suits. For example, no auto air.... I like the manual control over air flow. The plastics (dashboard) are fine.
But, comparing to a BMW, it is a different scale, price wise - -and there are some shortcomings. I do want to find quality floor mats for the Mustang, like the BMW has. As stated above, the mat does have an anchor on the floor. But the mustang's mats are real poor quality. Plus no mats came with the car for the back seat.
FWIW my 330 i mats were "thrown in" by the dealer.

Don't you guys get it?
The BMW doesn't have an option for the mats because they're not offered.
You have to get them from the dealer.
When you go to the Mustang page on the Ford site, do you see a place to add rear floor mats when you "Build Your Ford"? No. You have to get them from the dealer or aftermarket.

Testy testy Jason, relax. I think we get your point. But the majority of dealers to close a deal will throw in the floor mats for free. And if you are buying used, they prob are already in there.

Maybe we'll get luck and there will be a plug for powering the mirror in the headliner. I doubt it since it was not a factory option but maybe it was a last minute deletion since most cars have it today.

Hey look it's not only BMW that does this. When I bought my 2000 Nissan Frontier they TRIED to make me pay $80.00 for the floormats.
I was getting ready to drive away with it, and noticed it had no floormats, I pitched a fit and told them it was outright cheesy to not sell the truck without floormats. They caved pretty quick as there were 2 other customers ready to take delivery of other cars in the same boat, none of them realized the floormats were extra, and were listening intently as I thrashed the dealer about it.
They got theirs too, it made me wonder if the dealer just does this to try and make a couple of bucks on something that should have been included anyway

For the Ford auto-dimming mirror or aftermarket, are they battery powered or do they need connected to the vehicles electrical system? My current car came with it as a factory installed option and it has a power cord plugged into it, just curious if anyone knew.

Thanks for not blowing up on me (like I did).
Guess it was just one of those things.
I'm feeling MUCH better now.
