Can someone give me details on the "Shaker500 Button" not lighting, all I have is a Shaker500 logo on the top of the radio, is that it? I've installed a Shaker500 in my '05 Focus and have the disk skipping issue as well.

I lost the Speed sensitive volume control and faceplate dimming since the Focus doesn't tie in to the CAN-Bus like the Mustang does. But, I'll get a round to that eventually.

I can play all types of CD's and MP3's, but the text function seems to always say :no cd text".

What is involved in the radio programming? I'm wondering if I can get that done, or if I'm just stuck. Thanks!

I tried playing with that and it doesn't (just 'cos I'm willing to try ANYTHING to get rid of the gap between tracks!)

Seriously though, the gap between tracks is beginning to make me REALLY angry - most of my CDs are dance mixes and each track is intermingled with the next and its SOOOO annoying when it suddenly stops then starts again for no good reason - its the only player I've ever experienced that does this!

Is there anything I can do, or someone I can vent to that will actually take notice?
