Does anyone have the real Shaker 500/1000 Wiring Diagram? There is one that is floating around here but its not for the Shaker. Most likely taken from a Lincoln double din unit. PIN 14 on that diagram says it's for speed sense but on the real Shaker 500 Rev. B it's not there. I would like to find this diagram because it would make hooking my AVN5435 much easier. Thanks!

In the thread you are referring to, groupset and axslynger both hooked their GPS up to pin 14 and it worked for them. Maybe PM either one of them and see if they can help

The "rev" of the head unit will not have any bearing on the wiring, just FYI.

When I sent a PM to axslynger he said it just started working for him and he never tied it into PIN 14....

I never said I hooked into the pin 14 wire. I said I was going to look for it the next time I had the dash apart. BUT.....all the functions of the unit are working on mine WITHOUT the VSS wire being connected as it did with the other Pioneer unit I had in the car as well. I don't know why they work without these connections, but it does.

Sorry if I misled anyone out there.

Just to set the record straight, I've never hooked up anything to pin 14 of my radio - never had the dash apart as of yet and certainly haven't replaced the stock radio.

Yup, you are right, and I stand corrected. You did not say you had done it. You just said you had the diagram. My mistake.

That's OK, he has asked me a couple of times about the link to the radio shack part that I posted, and I have told him each time I did not post it. So I guess it's just a jumble all the way around

My advise is take it back to the place you paid to install it ( car toyz, right? ) and make them jack with it until it is the way you want it to be.

Well taking it back to Tweeter is the plan. I just figured I throw some things out there to the audio people on the forum and see what they had to say.
