Shaker 1K MP3 Not Working After 1 Week
Well it was great while it lasted, this morning after working flawlessly for one entire week the Shaker 1000 stopped reading MP3's and gives me a "Bad Disk" message and then pukes out the cd. I have read the numerous shaker bash threads but was hoping mine would be different. Oh well.
I have to take the car to the dealer on Monday anyway to fix the cut in the leather on the backseat so I will add the Shaker to the list. I am sure they will remove and replace the unit as they have for many many others. I just hope it fixes it permanently so I don't have to take it back every so often.
Wish me luck!!

I got my stang back today and was surprised by the fix. It turns out that the player lost it's "Logic" which basically means it had to be reprogrammed. I played MP3's all the way home and it worked great.
Hopefully this will not be a reoccuring problem. So far so good.

What's your opinion of the Shaker 1000 now that you own one
-and-
How did you get the rip in the seat?

The seat was cut either at the factory or when the prep guy did his stuff. The dealer took care of it without a problem. A local shop replaced the panel and since they used the factory leather, it matches perfectly.
