Shaker 1000 Size

Hey everyone!
I am going to be purchasing a 2006 GT Mustang very soon and was considering the Shaker 1000 sound system upgrade. My Dad has the Mach 1000 sound system in his 2003 GT which leaves him very little room for anything in the trunk. Has anyone been able to fit a set of golf clubs in the trunk of the new GT?
Thanks in advance!
Michael
PS- If nobody responds I might have to bring my golf bag to the dealer to check before I purchase

The rear seats do fold down to some extent (I haven't tried it) so any room you need would come from that. The Shaker1000 unit is kinda big, I'd say offhand from the metal wall to the edge of the unit is close to 8-10". It does take practically the entire depth of the side it's mounted on.

My Q has the Shaker 1000 system and to get my clubs in the trunk I have to put the seat back down on the pass side back seat. Although I have had them in their with the seat back up. You almost have to dump you bag to get them in and out with the seat back up.
This is exactly why I ordered the Shaker 500. There was a post about this when they first came out and you had to put the back seat down for the golf clubs. Nothing should get in the way of my golf clubs, ever.
