Here's a few questions:

Has anyone replaced their factory subwoofers in either the doors or trunk yet?

What size are they?

Does any manufacturer make a drop in replacement?

Does anyone have a procedure for diassembling the trunk subwoofer enclosure?

As always thanks in advance for any information.

I myself have not. But I did see someone had some JL Audio 8" subs put in his doors. They looked real clean.

I have to say though. I just got back from my stereo shop and he told me not to change out the door subs, especially if you are going to put subs in the trunk. His reasoning was that the stockers are more of a mid level bass. Not to be confused with mid-range speakers. Just saying that they are not deep. If you left them in and put some more in the trunk, you would have a well rounded, clean bass with deep bass in the back and mid level bass up front.

This is not neccesarily my opinion. This is what I was told by my stereo guy.
