Seahawks shift knob
Seahawks shift ****
I had an idea to turn NFL billiard ***** into shift *****, a Seahawks for me and a Raiders for my friend up in Portland, OR.
I found someone a few months ago to drill the ball, and insert a threaded piece with the correct thread size.
Bruce Roosa, owner of www.koolknobs.com .
Initially I used the washer/nut method to hold the boot up under the ****.
After working with Bruce he designed an adapter that hold the boot up, but not flush with the ****.
I am very happy with the results.
Here are a few pic's after the adapter.
Now if my friend gets off his lazy *** and takes pic's of the sweet looking Raiders **** I had made for him, I would be even happier.
His is a marbled silver with the black and white Raiders shield.

I am a born and bread Raiders fan, bleed silver and black through the good times and the bad. But there is not a chance in hell I would do that to my car.
May I ask why?
My friend loves his, gets compliments all the time.
Not at all.
Feels perfect.
Just grab a billiard ball sometime to give you an idea.
Oh, and the NFL sets have a sweet looking 8 ball.
It's black and white striped like a ref's jersey.
A little different than the original 8 ball.

Ugh. Sorry. It's your mod, and more power to you. Enjoy.

What exactly is your reason?
Is it the NFL theme, or the billiard ball?
Just curious.
And you're right, it's my mod.
Lovin' every minute of it.

"Not a chance" means I prefer the stock shifter and I would never replace with anything else, whether it be a pistol grip, T-handle, hurst white shift ****, or a billiard ball.
Not putting your mod down, just my personal taste.
Oh, and GO CHARGERS!!!

I didn't dislike the stock ****, just wanted something a little different.
This is the second after market **** for me.
The first was the MGW gripper ****, with the GT inset.
Felt good, and basically billiard ball shaped.
You have to understand, before the stang (my first), it was all Seahawks for me.
Now I have two passions, and I think this is a great way to combine the two.

Not putting your mod down in the least! I've seen some truly awful mods since I started hanging around this board, but yours isn't one of them...
It's all good!
<COUGH> A certain hood-mounted gauge comes to mind... <COUGH>
