Anybody thought that it might look very tasteful in having a script lettering or logo in the blank area of the dash between the dash pad and glovebox? B) If the right size emblem and style can be found, it could look pretty nice.....'ya think? Maybe 'Mustang'...'GT'...etc.

My '90 mustang had a 25th anniversary addition logo in that general vicinity. B)
The 40th logo might look good there.

well you already have a pony in the steering wheel so no need for 2 of them. Here are some options I am considering.

#1 The 1965 "MUSTANG 2+2" emblem

#2 1969 "Mustang" script letters

or #3 1969/70 Dash emblem that says mustang but also includes a small running horse.

Some ideas, and you are right about the blank dash..

I had planned on doing that myself Kevin. I already have the Mustang emblem in block letters. If I can find the script emblem with adhesive backing I'll go with that. Now I'm either gonna get a thumbs up or down for this next idea. I'm getting standard interior. So on the dash panel itself between the air vents where it would have been all aluminum, I'm placing a chrome horse grill emblem. I held it up to a dash at the dealer & it didn't look tacky at all, especially with dark charcoal for the background.

Edit: I'm scratching my idea folks. There's a new topic in the general thread area called "Alternate To IUP (Dash)". I'm going with that now. But Kevin's idea is great if you're going to stick with standard interior.
