Scosche sub enclosure with Blaupunkt VW1200?

I was thinking of installing a Blaupunkt VW1200 in a Scosche mustang specific sub enclosure with approx 1000w amp as an upgrade to the Shaker500. Anyone know if this driver is a good match to this enclosure? Other high wattage capable 12" driver recomendations? The specs I have for the enclosure show a mounting depth of 8.38", cutout of 10.998" and a volume (unported) of 1.2 cu ft.

Does Blaupunkt list any specs on their website as to a recommended box (Sealed, Ported, Bandpass) and the volume recommended ?
I have an Infinity Perfect 12D VQ in that same box and love it.

Blau recomends a sealed box of 1.0 cuft or ported 1.5. Is the extra 0.2 cuft really a problem? I could add a 0.2 cuft inanimate object inside the box to reduce the effective volume if it really needs it. Was just wondering if anyone else had used this driver. Its power handling rating is quite impressive as well as being fairly effecient. Have never used Blau subs or speakers. Is thier track record good? I have not been impressed at all with JL or Kenwood while JBL has held up great for me.

I am very new at all of the aftermarket audio scene, so I probably am not a good person to ask that question to. I know there are several people on here that are though. I have no experience with Blaupunkt so I have no opinion of them, but I do know not many people talk about them
