Has anyone installed the Roush Trunklid Toolkit? Can it be installed with a Trunk Lid Mat? Where can I buy one? Any photos?
Thanks
Jon

Jon,
You can buy it from Roush.
It lists for $289.08 and how they came up with the .08 cents is beyond me...
I checked ebay and didn't see any for '05+, only for '99-'04.
To say it's over priced is like saying Paris Hilton is annoying.

I like the idea too, but the Roush price is way over the top. I've seen them at Mustang shows and it bolts to the trunk lid. Too bad another company doesn't produce a no-name tool kit at half the price.
One more thing, the 99-04 trunk lid was composite plastic, same for the hood. I don't know if the 05-06 trunk lid is aluminum, like the new hoods are, or if it would make a difference mounting a heavy tool kit to it.

The tools fit tight in the foam and do not rattle even with subs booming in the trunk. It mounts well on the decklid and is very secure. I've got a SN95 style kit that is in perfect condition that I'd sell for $150 if someone wants to tackle mounting it. It is the one pictured above, the S197 one comes with a socket set and is a little bit of a different configuration.
