Listen, I don't know which subs are better than others, but I am looking to add atleast 1 10" or 12" sub in my trunk in addition to the new kenwood ddx6019 i just installed the other day. I was wondering if anyone had this sub --- Rockford Fosgate - Punch 12" Dual-Voice-Coil 4-Ohms Subwoofer or know whether or not it is decent because I can get it for half off. Ill just need an amp, which i thought someone could recommend as well. I listen mostly to rock i.e. dream theater, sevendust, jimi hendrix.. etc. etc.

I had the Rockford that you speak of, except in the 2ohm speaker. I was turned on to this and it Rocks. I listen to everything from ACDC to Metallica to old Sabbath. This is your woofer and it comes in a box that fits nicely in a mustang. I push it with a Boston Acoustic Amp. BIG POWER...small size. The small size cost alittle more but well worth it IMO.

how much are you getting it for? and what model number is it? they make a lot of different levels that are dual 4 ohm.
