I sure do! But it's ok...

I just got my stang yesterday... love it to death. My interior just looks so naked without the IUP. I prolly should've waited... but I was just too eager to get the mustang right then and there.

But hey... you win some, you lose some... atleast I have my stang!

No regrets here....

IMO, I don't like all of the extra bling in my personal space. I prefer to put the bling under the hood, where it counts. Need I say polished super charger

No regrets at all here! Personally I feel that the IUP is tacky and since my car is screaming yellow on the outside I prefer it to be the exact opposite on the inside!

I'm with Nichole and Jerry on this. I've intentially one without the IUP, but did opt for the 18R Sport group that includes the leather steering wheel and the shifter. I'd liked to have everything else it includes, but not the aluminum dash panels. They are overdone, and I prefer a more subdued look.

I have it and, oddly enough, I like it for a completely different reason than i bought for. My car is Satin Silver, with Dark Charcoal so...of course, the IUP looks fantastic with this color combo. That's why I bought it! I now really like it mostly for the "my color" option: not that I play with it, but I set it the same color as the "TEMP" dial (BLUE portion lighted) and LOVE the way the dash looks at night ! Without IUP, what color is the dash at night? I agree COMPLETELY that the IUP is good looking on some colors, o.k on other colors, and downright hideous on others!

Without IUP the dash is green (the same as the radio) with the lights on.

I don't have mine yet but it doesn't matter to me - as long as it's a GT, the right color, and the dark charcoal interior.

I don't dig any part of the IUP either (I don't even want the included leather steering wheel), but if you want the side airbags then you're forced into it (as I will be when I order mine).

i can take or leave most of the IUP, but i really wanted to avoid having three switch blanks dead-center on the dashboard.

The main thing I liked about iup was the plated door handles, but i'm sure i'll be able to repalce them no problem. Otherwise the interior looked a bit too tacky.

The IUP was made to look like the older stangs from the late 60's. Personally I have the IUP and would never had ordered the car without it. I don't think it is tacky at all. It adds alot of class, especially with the dark charcoal dash and leather interior. Everyone that has seen my car commented on how much the loved the interior, especially the aluminum dash insert.

I don't think I would have gotten the car without the IUP either. At the time I ordered it, it seemed frivolous and excessive, but after having sat in an '05 GT without the IUP and picking up mine last week, it was one of the best decisions I made along with getting the stick instead of the auto. I certainly think it's worth the wait and the additional cost...which is really next to nothing when you break it down to the monthly payments...that's just my opinion - to each their own. With or without the IUP, you have a might fine car

And now for some eye-candy

Speaking of a supercharger, it may have been mentioned on here before, anyone know what the transmission can handle as far as hp and torque goes?

Having ordered IUP on my V6 Premium as well as the manual tranny I'm on hold here but I'll wait as long as necessary. I've seen 3 V6s now - all without IUP and the interior just looks too plain compared to the upgrade package. Worth the wait IMO!

I have set in a V6 delux with IUP & a GT without IUP. Both had the DC interior as will my car. I have been on hold for 2+ months because I ordered my V6 Premiumn with IUP. But I am with Ken on this one. After seeing both in person I will wait as long as possible. Although I am hoping the wait won't be too much longer.

BTW ~ For you guys who say that there is nothing about the IUP that you like. You have to like the fact that it would upgrade your gagues from 4 to the 6 most of us are used to. Right?

Cheersmates

THe only thing that the non-IUP has that I want is the 6 gauge cluster. But, like I said before I never look at the other gauges anyway.

Same here; I'm holding out for a V6 Premium/manual with the IUP.

I like the the interior without the IUP with 2 exceptions:

1) The standard polyurethane steering wheel looks like a K-mart Blue Light Special. If it had a leather-wrapped rim with polyurathan spokes, or a polyurathane rim with aluminum-clad spokes it would be OK.

2) Dark Charcoal looks like the inside of a cave without the IUP. If I were going to order a car with the standard interior I would get light gray or tan just because of this.

On the other hand, I like the sparkly things in the plastic panels of the standard dash. The chrome instrument/air vent rings stand out better against the dark panels too.

To me, I think the IUP adds "something". But, I think the main "something" is the extra gauges! It's a shame you have to get the IUP to get a full gauge package.
