I had an 05 mustang which I changed the rear speakers, popped off the grille, easy enough. Well I picked up an 07 gt in September and noticed the rear shelf had no grilles, didn't think much of it. But now I'm ready to replace the rear speakers and was wondering if anyone had a pdf showing what needs to be removed. It appears the backseat needs to come out and then the inner 1/4 panel trim, and then the shelf. Anyone done this yet? Thanks in advance.

 

Yeah, I know what you mean. I was going to change mine out until I seen what was involved. I wish there was a way to just unscrew them from the bottom and have them drop down. I guess that isn't an option. I hate to rip the entire back seat area apart to replace two speakers.
