Did a search and couldn't find details anywhere for the removal of the rear shelf speakers. (except to use a flexible snake screwdriver). Anyway, I was trying to pry off the covers and having no luck - do we have to remove the entire package tray carpeted cover or do the plastic grills come off seperately?

TIA - b

I'll guess here (so take that with a grain of salt) but usually the grills snap onto the exterior ring of the speaker. Then the speaker is screwed down to the deck.

Try a trim tool (or a butter knife - gently!!!) to see if you can pry it up. If anyone has direct experience chime in, but that's what I recall from other installs.

cheers

Grills just pry off-here is the shop manual procedure-Hope it helps!
BTW be sure to use a stubby screwdriver for removal!
Caution: do not damage defrost grid.
