wait what do they do exactly. I have trouble reaching for the seatbelt because the b-pillar is so far back. do these go next to the headrest and hold the seatbelt from going back? Thanx

Shoulder belt stopped me from buying '14 Mustang
In 1966, I bought my first new car - a red Mustang with black interior - for all of $2,200 ~ and now 47 years later, after driving family sedans, I'd hoped to return to owning a new Mustang. I test drove 3 and loved driving them, but ran into a problem with the shoulder belt riding up on my neck which was really irritating after awhile & decided to think it over. The salesmen at the dealership said no one had complained & didn't offer a solution like the extension discussed above. I decided to hold off.
I came here looking for a solution & found this thread and a thread posted in 2007 by n8rfastback, who devised a solution - a 1/4" aluminum retainer that held the belt out next to the headrest. Ne had a lot of owners wanting to buy & willing to sign a disclaimer of liability, so he sold quite a few until suddenly declining to sell any more for lack of finances to test it for safety. Buyers able to get them posted satisfaction the problem had been solved.
So, now I know I'm not the only one who has this problem & also know a fleece sleeve isn't a real solution. Does anyone know whether Ford intends to fix this problem in the 2015 model?

Good Fyi on the 05-09's Honestly Don't Know How Well the Extensions work on Other Years. I still use this in my 07 gt-500. The Sleeve was Just my Added Touch and works for me.
