i want to use it but i am afraid of the space that will be left over
do you think i should scratch the idea and go with a DD or might the installer have something to put in the empty space like a delete

Ken,
Same model-works great!! Installed system myself-in process have installed Head unit, MDX65 MD changer, XT XM1 tuner, and Pioneer 6x8 threeways in door and deck. (have had speakers for several years-can't recall model #) Will finish system in spring-once weather permits-planning custom glass sub enclosure for rt rear of trunk, powered by Alpine sub amp.
The only issue I have is a light "pop" when depressing brake pedal-nothing I can't live with now, but will add cap to pedal switch in spring.
Hope you enjoy yours!!
