Parking brake handle removal, How To?

I might have a less expensive alternitive to the parking breke handle
cosmetic proble.
I just need to know how to remove stock rubber handle.
If it works I will post pics.

What i need is how to remove the actual rubberized handle grip.
So that the brake lever is bare ......i.e. no rubber on it.

Can't, it's one piece. Been down that road. Well, you could twist really hard and see if it comes off, but thinking you'll be buying a complete e-brake assembly then. Bought the Momo Handbrake handle which slips over the existing handle and it doesn't fit...sent it back. You can go with MGW or wait. Someone will come out with other handles which slip over these.

Can't, it's one piece. Been down that road. Well, you could twist really hard and see if it comes off, but thinking you'll be buying a complete e-brake assembly then. Bought the Momo Handbrake handle which slips over the existing handle and it doesn't fit...sent it back. You can go with MGW or wait. Someone will come out with other handles which slip over these.

If you're not going to reuse the rubber piece, how about slicing it down the middle with an exacto or other razor type knife? [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif[/img]
