So i am thinking i want to install a Pioneer Z2, and some new door speakers. and in the near future a set of 12s in the trunk.

I have heard that you should just scrap the rear deck speakers and send the money on the door speakers is that true?

For the door speakers i am thinking about a set of 5x7 or 5.25 components (infinity, Boston, or jbl gto, around $200 rang) and a new set of 8" subs for the doors. any suggestions?

How does the whole amp thing work. Can i use the same aftermarket amp to power the door subs and the door components? is there a specific type?

how much room is in the door sub enclosure, as far as mounting depth goes?
